The recessed design of the façade effectively welcomes in the site’s leafy, coastal surrounds, serves to reduce building bulk and creates avenues for natural light and intriguing shadow plays.
Natural materials including soaring vertical timber mullions and brickwork create a sympathetic interface with public outside spaces. Full length windows and glazed tiles as balcony balustrades make the most of the outstanding views.
The external timber mullions serve to offer privacy yet permit shards of light and the expansive coastal and park views. Living areas open onto wide balconies. Timber flooring and muted, neutral internal colours create a sense of warmth and are designed to complement the coastal location.
